EXCEEDED OUR HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS
We engaged Andrew to sell our mother’s townhouse in McKellar in early 2015 following her admission to an aged care facility. Several agents were given the opportunity to bid for this task. Andrew was selected over the others as he put forward the best marketing proposal. He did not create any unrealistic expectations and showed genuine enthusiasm in representing us and to achieve the best possible outcome for our mother. We were also impressed with his knowledge of the market in the McKellar area as he had sold two similar properties in the adjoining development in the previous 18 months.
Andrew provided us with very valuable and relevant information on how to prepare the property for sale and to maximize the sale price. He recommended a realistic and effective marketing strategy which maximized exposure but at the same time was mindful of our modest budget.
Andrew made himself available to exhibit the property three times in the first week – on Thursday evening for prospective buyers on the Elders buyers’ database, and on the following Saturday and Sunday. The marketing strategy and advertising campaign, which were developed in conjunction with his colleague Philly, gave the property a broad exposure and generated a lot of interest. By the end of the weekend, and after only three exhibitions, acceptable offers had been received from at least four prospective buyers. I first met Andrew Lonsdale when he was organising an auction at a neighbour’s house and he impressed me then as an energetic and likeable agent. AUCTION TESTIMONIAL – GREG AMOSIn December of 2013 I spoke to Greg in regard to the sale of my fathers property in Narrabundah, as I have never had to sell a property before I was feeling very overwhelmed at the job ahead.
